Activities

The LeGette Student Council consists of elected officers and classroom representatives (and alternates). Student Council elections take place in late September of every school year. Students in grades 4-6 are encouraged to get involved. Student Council meetings are held during lunch recess.  

The LeGette Student Council strives to make our school a better place through various projects and activities. As a service organization, the Student Council becomes involved in charitable causes. Here is a partial list of some of the projects the Student Council has supported:  

Canned food drive
Care packages to the Troops
Children’s Receiving Home
Coats for Kids
Pennies for Patients  

Talent Show

Each school year students enjoy a Talent Show put on by their peers. Students can tryout for individual or groups acts.  Acts range from singing and dancing to magic, comedy, and more!  Students really enjoy this and look forward to it each year. 

Here are the dates for the 2017 Talent Show:

• Auditions - January 23-27, 2017
• Rehearsals - January 30-February 14, 2017, during lunch recess
• Performances - Thursday, February 16th, in the LeGette MP Room (2 daytime school assembly performances and 1 evening performance at 6:00 p.m.).
